The STARLINE cosmetic line was developed on the basis of a new science, Cosmetogenomics, born following the discoveries of some scientists and cosmetologists, who were able to identify the existence of a close connection between specific genes, their expression and the specific action of some cosmetic active ingredients. Cosmetogenomics studies the impact of a cosmetic treatment on particular skin genes and their consequent activity. It has been shown that specific active ingredients stimulate the expression of thousands of genes, and give concrete answers in the treatment of some skin problems, as well as counteract skin aging.
Genome research by the STARLINE laboratories has selected some active ingredients with proven properties which, by acting on the genes of the skin, stimulate or inhibit the activity of synthesizing certain proteins useful for a given function, improving their action, stimulating or inhibiting it.
